Do you throw bread out often? Here’s 6 tasty ways to use your loaf!!
Bread & Butter Pudding
Ingredients:
O’ Sullivan’s Brack
50g butter softened
600 ml of milk
4 eggs
75g caster sugar
Grease an ovenproof dish.
Preheat oven to 200 C
Remove crust from brack, butter and cut into quarters.
Arrange the buttered brack in the ovenproof dish.
Beating eggs, milk and sugar, and pour over the brack slices.
Leave to stand for 30 minutes.
Place dish into oven for 40 to 45 minutes until pudding has set.
Serve warm.
Toasted Hawaii
Ingredients:
O’ Sullivan’s bread,
ham, pineapple rings, & cheese
Toast a slice of white bread.
Butter the bread if desired.
Place slice of ham on the toast.
Place pineapple ring on the ham and cover with cheese.
Place under the grill until the cheese is nicely melted. Enjoy!
Open Prawn Sandwich
Ingredients:
O’ Sullivan’s Soda bread
Prawns
2 tablespoons mayo
4 tbsp natural yoghurt
3 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp Worchester sauce
2 tsp horseradish sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice.
Mix all wet ingredients together, drain prawns, and place in the mixed cocktail sauce.
Top a slice of O’ Sullivan’s bread with prawn cocktail and garnish with side salad.

• Toasted special with ballymaloe relish.
Two slices of O’ Sullivans bread. Spread ballymaloe relish on one slice, fill with ham, cheese, tomato and onion, and toast until cheese is melted to desire.
• Toast Kerry brack, and serve with butter.
• O’Sullivan’s plain loaf cut thickly spread generously with butter, jam if desired……oh ymmm….. the way bread should taste.
